Nachchimale,
is one of the popular bathing place which is famous among Local and Foreign
tourist, which was identified by the
local tourism authorities as an eco-tourism location. Nachchimale bathing spot
is a part of the Nambapana Lake with waterfalls, natural pools filled with cold
clear water in natural environment in a rain forest.
Nachchimale is situated 40
miles off from Colombo along Colombo – Ingiriya main road.
Madakada
Aranya Senasanaya also located in Nachchimale. On Poya Days and Weekends big
crowds are visiting the Senasanaya for worship and a water stream passing by
the side of the Aranya, makes a peaceful environment for meditation.
