Sithulpawwa rock temple is located within the Yala National
Park where over 12,000 Arhats or monks were supposed to have meditated during
the 1st century BC. And there is an elephant who friends with the visitors and looking for foods. He didn't harm to any visitor and he named as Sithulpawwa Tusker. There are
two tempels calling as "Maha Sithulpawwa and Kuda Sithulpawwa". The
Stupa is situated in the peak of the rock and it is not easy to climb the rock and height is 400ft.
